GEL plays a significant role in providing radiobioassay analysis to support the safety of radiological workers. Our clients rely on data derived from urine, feces, and nasal smears of workers to uphold safe working environments.
To maintain the integrity of radiobioassay analysis, we conduct these assessments in a 4,000-square-foot dedicated laboratory. The laboratory maintains a rigorous radiological control program to prevent cross contamination. GEL is active in meeting the requirements of the Department of Energy Laboratory accreditation program (DOELAP) and all analyses strictly adhere to the performance criteria standards outlined in ANSI N13.30, "Performance Criteria for Radiobioassay."
